Your job will be to implement support for new networking devices inside of our product, continue the development of our existing product's feature set and help with design and development of our new products. This is a software developer role, but you will need networking background since our products focus on managing networking equipment.

What you should know

6+ years of work experience in Java development - Java/JEE/Spring solutions

Experience with designing and implementing distributed applications

Knowledge of CI/CD principles (Maven/Gradle, Bamboo/TeamCity/Jenkins)

Experience working with multi-module Maven projects

Experience working with SQL databases

Experience with test-driven development in Java

Understanding of application design - Design patterns and/or Architectural Blueprints

Efficient coding, awareness of patterns and anti-patterns and properly structured code

Experience with Agile (Scrum) processes

Motivated to learn new technologies

Nice to know:

Spring framework

Databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL or HSQL)

Security and application hardening

Networking requirements

3+ years of past networking experience

Deep understanding of router / switch configuration

Comfortable with configuring network devices using CLI

Understanding of data structures in SNMP

Understanding of ISO / OSI model

Things you will work with daily (and need to know):

Java

Test frameworks - jUnit, Mockito, etc.

Interaction with networking devices using CLI & SNMP

Spring framework

REST, XML, JSON, etc.

HTML5, CSS, JS (at least basics)

Yes. you can work as a direct employee (TPP), as a contractor (SZČO / Živnosť) or contract through your company (S.R.O., etc.).

Can I work remotely?

We highly value team cooperation, cohesion and constant communication and knowledge sharing within our company. As such, we currently only hire on-premise in our offices in Košice.
