Junior Java Developer with Networking Background

You will implement support for new networking devices inside of our product and continue the development of our product's feature set. This is a software developer role, but you will need networking background since our product focuses on managing networking equipment.

What you should know

1+ years of work experience in Java development - Java/JEE/Spring solutions

Knowledge of CI/CD principles (Maven/Gradle, Bamboo/TeamCity/Jenkins)

Knowledge of test-driven development in Java

Experience with Agile (Scrum) processes

Motivated to learn new technologies

Willing to take challenge of becoming a professional software developer

Nice to know:

Spring framework

Databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL or HSQL)

Security and application hardening

Neworking requirements

2+ years of past networking experiences

Deep understanding of router / switch configuration

Comfortable with configuration network devices using CLI

Understanding of ISO / OSI model

Java

Test frameworks - jUnit, Mockito, etc.

Code debugging

Interaction with networking devices using CLI

REST, XML, JSON, etc.

What is our hiring process?

We will review your CV and perform some initial screening with the rest of our team.

You will be invited to an introductory Zoom meeting with our management team.

Can I work remotely?

We highly value team cooperation, cohesion and constant communication and knowledge sharing within our company. As such, we currently only hire on-premise in our offices in Košice.
